appendicitis

can anyone tell me the symptoms. my eldest had pains around the appendix area today, was sent home from school yesterday feeling sick. but he didnt feel sick today, just had pains. he says he feels okay now though. he didnt have a temperature today either.

any ideas. or can appendicitis start like this.

once appendicitis starts the pain tends to just get more intense - you don't get better then worse if you know what i mean - get him checked out tho if you're still worried

Libs is right, i had mine taken out at 15 and it trted off like a bad tummy and on day 5 i just collapsed was in agony - my parents thought i was faking it so i didnt have to go to school they felt really bad afterwards.
You do get a temperature with it and feel really rough.

Kieran is fine now, no pains whatsoever. i believe that it was just wind pain as i know that this can be quite painful at times.
