Anyone with ultrasound exsperience on twins

Ok so i went for a scan on my birthday she didnt yell me much but that it was too early to take any measurements but everything looked fine and she had seen a heartbeat however she did alot of hinting on to another lady beside her like "is that"? Then "yer i think it is" and as i left she handed me my scan photo and said " here theres a good birthday present for you" as i got home me, my friends and family think we see 2 anyone know more that can help.....thanks

I had a scan at 6 weeks and they suspected twins due to a flicker on the screen. They booked a second scan for 8 weeks when everything would be clearer. By this time it was clear to see just one sac and one baby.

It is harder to tell if it's twins early on but not impossible. Have they booked a second scan?

I am expecting twins. At 6 weeks my consultant gave me an external scan but couldn't see much so gave an internal scan and it showed 2 clear sacs. It was only at my 8 week scan than he could see the 2 sacs clearly on an external scan. He was able to find the 2 heartbeats on the 6 week scan but said it was like trying to find a tiny pin prick on a grain of rice lol!
Would it be worth requesting an internal scan to be 100% sure? xo

This is an internal scan because i was early, she sounded excited when she said is that? And the othet said yer i think it is... i gues ill just need to wait it out could kick myself for not asking lol xx

I'd be a bit annoyed if they suspected it and didn't share it with you. I'm not sure why they'd hide it but at least they sounded excited. It all sounds positive x
