Anyone with a mortgage ?

I am different to the norm I have a £30,000 capital repayment mortgage with a capped rate (with approx 3 years left to run before we negotiate rates again) at 3.5% and a £35,000 endowment policy that is always on green target (they assess how well your money is growing each year).

I should be mortgage free in 17 years

we pay approx £400 a month

our property was incredibly cheap as we brought just before the boom

My mortgage is a good rate as negotiated and capped JUST before interest rates soared a few years ago.

I took out my mortgage 2 and a half years ago and the fixed interest rate is 4.8% - that's the same as the interest on my student loan! I borrowed £86 000 and had to pay £490 a month. I've over paid my mortgage so now I'm owe them £72000 and I think they want £450 a month. I pay £600 to them though so it doesn't come as too much of a shock when I have to get a new deal in December and pay lots more interest!

We bought our house for £91k last year and got a 95% mortgage at 6.4% interest only fixed for 2 years. We pay £467 a month. I'm dreading when the fixed rate ends.

Ours is fixed rate for 10 years at 6. something (cant remember sorry)
and we pay £700 a month for 100K over 25 yeats

We got our house for 186k, paid 20k deposit last year, so 166k mortgage over 25 years, and we pay £740 intrest only, but we pay £800 a month so there is some extra if we ever need a holiday.

We decided to keep it interest only for now as we are putting extra away to pay that bit extra at the end of the year too. Im sure we really need to have a overhaul on the mrtgage front.

Mortgage of £167,000 @ £996 PM over 30 years. The rate is 5.25 fixed for two years...then reverts to standard variable rate.

1 year into our 25 year mortgage

5.75 fixed rate for 5 years

Can't remember if its for £205,000 or £215,000

But we pay £1257 each month (which is seriously scary as I'm the main breadwinner, goodness knows what we'll do if we do manage to have children!)
