Just started thinking that this may be a good option for early labour at home.

Has anyone used one? plan to use one? or hired/bought one?

Poking my nose in from tri 2 but I'm having this as an option if I need it. My mum has one for sciatica so she's bringing it over for me just in case :) x

Yes, I'm going to give it a go. I'm actually going to the Physio at the hospital to pick it up tomorrow. It's an hour appointment so I'm imagining they'll go through how to use it and when etc. Haven't used one before though, so not sure how well it will work! xx

Definitely! Having a home birth so think it might be my best friend lol xx

I've bought one. But you need to make sure it's a special one to use in labour you can't just use any tens machine xx

I use a pretty good one for my endo pains , I wonder if its good enough for labour I must check it out .

i was goin to say the same, u have to get ones that are suitable for use in pregnancy, the other tens machines are not safe. I LOVED my tens machine with Ethans labour and im sure it was the only thing that got me through the night on my own as OH was sent home. Great for early labour if you get it on early enough. x

are you going to buy one? i just hired mine from mothercare. Im not sure which ones are the best but mine was a mama tens. x

I was thinking of buying and then selling it on e bay after - should be able to make most of money back :)

I bought because if you ever want to use it again, it's worthnit. No
Point in paying 2 hire fees! X

Check to see if your hospital loan them out for free before you buy or hire - mine do.

It did nothing but greatly irritate me during labour but they're worth a shot!

Yes I've hired a Mama Tens too - fingers crossed it will do the job on the day!

I have tried for my bcn problems several times and end up getting very very irritated with it. I think it could just drive me insane in labour.....
