I'm on Levi for interactive thyroid and have read on the British thyroid site that as soon as pregnancy confirmed levo should be increased by 25-50mg per day. I've spoken to my doctors who are saying no need to do this??? Confused now so just wondering if anyone around has experience of this.

You should have levels monitored and increased if needed as far as I'm aware. What is your current level they keep you at? Needs to be under 2 for conception and continuing pregnancy.

I have normal thyroid function but have high thyroid antibodies and took part in a trial taking levi or a placebo for this. I had to have my blood taken regulary to check all was ok. I am pretty sure I got the levi not the placebo looking at my bloods, I will find out when the trial is completed next year.

I am and even from work i know you definitely need to do this. Do you have autoimmune hypothyroid? You need to get bloods checked at very very least! When i called doctor to say the same they tried to fib me off but cause of work i was like err no. What dose are you on?
