Was just reading info on the baby centre website and realised that from Monday when I turn 32 weeks I could drink raspberry leaf tea if I wanted to. However it said not to take it if there is history of certain things in family including fibroids. My mum and her sister both had hysterectomies a few years ago due to fibroids. My
Mums was quite a bad case seemingly.
Anyone know the 'science' behind this? Will it be risky for me to take it??

not heard of that and my mom had fibroids!!

i took it last time i was preggers and had no complications it was recommended by mw too!! taking it this time but cow n gate website says not to take it if you have had a previous c-section which i have and mw still recommneded last time and never mentioned anything bout risks!!

so still taking it :) someone else might be able to give a more logical answer though so wil be stalking xxxx

Tis confusing. I've got the tea all ready and was about to start taking it but asked MW on tues and she said 38 weeks at the earliest. And ideally I shouldn't bother with it at all. No idea what's the right thing to do as there is conflicting info from all sides.
