anyone know how tax credits work?

hi iv being looking at family tax credits i work 35 hours a week at the min but thinking about going part time wen i retrun back to work im marred and he works full time would i get any tax credits as we both work or would i be beter off going back to work full time thanks

Try a claim anyways!! I work 16 hours a week and OH works 50-60 hours a week and we get around £10 a week!! It's not alot but better than nothing x x
