Anyone had low platelets before?

Went to the day assessment unit yesterday as I felt unwell. Turns out I've got high blood pressure and blood tests revealed a low platelet count. Not sure how low as I didn't ask, but they are repeating bloods tomorrow. If the platelets are still low what will this mean in terms of labor/delivery?

I'm consultant led anyway due to first pregnancy being a c-section and having a minor haemorrhage. Second pregnancy was a straight forward Vbac and no complications.

Any experience/info will be greatly received. Xx
