I bought a couple of dummies similar to these in Woolworths earlier. I took them out the pack to wash them when I got home and the snap shut bit is quite "snappy", worried she going to get a bruised finger or a fat lip if it shuts on her. Looked like a good idea in the shop. She tends to bugger about with her dummy and it's always falling out.

I'm assuming they're safe if they are available to buy, do they shut after a sudden impact? If so, I can't see a sucking baby causing that, I've never seen them before, very best wishes with them

We had one once - think it was a freebie - the idea is great but the problem is after it falls out they can't put it back in by themselves. It was never a problem with 'snapping' only with having to reopen it every time she spat it out. A dummy chain was better.

yeh if you go into ethel austins they sell dummy chains for £1.50. we use ours when we're out as hes seriously into throwing things at the mo
