Anyone good with printers??

I'm trying to print things out but nothing happens when i connect the printer to the laptop. I've tried doing it manually but it says to just plug in the usb port and windows will do the rest.

Well its obviously not lol

Does anyone know what i should do?

It says theres no need to.

Lat week i just plugged it in and it came up on the screen , tonight the comp wont pick the printer up

plug it in again and see if it picks it up - sometimwes my data stick doesn't get picked up first time

Or switch the comp off, plug it in and then switch it on again.

I'm useless sometimes tbh - the kids can outsmart me but my excuse was pregancy and baby brain

ok soiunds daft but if the printer turned on? iv done this loads of times then realised it was off lol

I didn't have any luck with it last night so i left it.

I plugged it in this morning and it worked fine
