Ah that will be awesome! I love bug jam, nt been for a few years, but it was the first 'festival' I ever went to, I come from a big family of dubbers and my folks used to take us every year from when I was about 10. Your kids will love it!
yep we are big dubbers here to! we had to sell our beetle last year and were gutted as it won best of show at skeggy and is now the beetle you see on all the tshirts and hoodies at the shows. we bought a t4 this year and have her just about ready. Kids and camping is always the bomb isnt it haha xxxxxx

I wish. Haven't made it in the last couple of years. But I have awesome memories of the last one I went to! Have been to VW Action too and loved it but it didn't pull as big a crowd as Bugjam.
Hopefully we'll be attending either Bugjam or VW Action next year with baby in tow. It just ends up costing us a heck of a lot of moolah travelling from Belfast, but its sooooo worth it. And my son loved it when we took him!
We had a couple of Bugs...1971 with hydraulics! It was actually on TV when a BBC TV crew were filming the Bangor NI car cruise scene and we just happened to be down cruising
It was sprayed matt black and totally rocked! Then got a 1951 ragtop which was well cool. Don't have them now as we'd nowhere to garage them and they needed a bit of work done so we sold them.
If we were ever to get a VW again...it would defo be a bus! And I love the rat look!

Sounds awesome hun yep i love the rat look. were trying to do something different with our t4 we have it slammed on porsche wheels side bars and old school roof rack were trying to mix old with new to show water cooled can be just as sexy as air cooled. have so many ideas going on. dam sorry for waffling lol xxxx

I love hearing about VWs and seeing what peeps do to their own. I'm so jealous that you guys are going! If we had a camper, we'd defo be over. Don't think it'd be one of my brightest ideas though, cos its the weekend before my due date Damn! x

I went to Bugjam 99 and 2001. 1999 was the best, it was mega hot and I loved it. 2001 rained the whole wkend lol. But still had a great time. Don't know if he still does it but the guy who commentated the races was hilarious. xxxxxxx
