I’m Cd11 today and did my first clear blue digi opk for this cycle.. didn’t go well!

So I did my pee in a cup like normal.. put the stick in the holder. It started flashing to say new cycle, then the test ready icon appeared. So I dipped the stick for the normal time.. poured away my pee as didn’t think I’d need it.. 6mins later it’s still saying test ready. Hasn’t even began to read my test. Some other icon popped up not sure what it meant, I’ll look later. I pulled the stick out as figure it’s not reading it anymore and it’s still developing!!!! Very slowly..!!!

Have no idea what to think.. other then I’m going to have to waste another test later!
These things aren’t exactly cheap :wall2:

Anyone ever get slow developing tests with these? Could I have a faulty batch maybe?

I sometimes have to redip as it doesn't do anything. It's annoying - I don't throw the wee away until I get the flashing stick thing. I've now had 6 days of flashing smileys and am completely fed up.

I once had a very dozy day when I forgot to put the test in the stick before dipping and put it in afterwards...the custmer services woman was very patonising and I felt like an idiot.

It's 15 seconds for dipping, but I sometimes have to add a couple more to get it to work.

Thanks Sunflower!

When I first started doing these tests I always kept my pee on the side just in case the test didn’t work but as I never had any problems I started pouring it away while I was waiting for test to do it’s thing! I think I’ll start saving it until the test has finished working from now on in case!! I’ll also add a few seconds to dipping the test next time. Haven’t bothered retesting today as it’s pain to drink less and avoid peeing.. it’s one thing I do like about these tests, that fmu is fine.

I’m sorry you are still waiting for the static face. Really hope it’s soon for you xx
