Anyone else waiting for 12 week scan this week?

My 12 week scan is tomorrow morning and I am both excited and terrified at the same time! Is this normal? Anyone else in the same boat?

I had a mmc 6 mths ago in which I found out at 8 weeks the baby died at 6 weeks. I never saw a heart beat. This time I was so stressed I had a private scan at 8 weeks and an NHS scan at 10 weeks and both times a growing baby and heart beat was seen.

That was 3 weeks ago....I am 13 weeks tomorrow based on my previous scans and got all my fingers and toes crossed!

Me! I have mine on Friday - I haven't had any private scans so I'm really nervous. I haven't been able to sleep for the past couple of nights. Good luck for tomorrow, I'm sure everything will be fine! x

Me, I also have my scan tomorrow and I don’t know how I’m feeling about it from one minute to the next. I’m petrified of being told there is no heartbeat although I know there was one at 6 weeks and I still feel like I have the hangover from hell constantly which I’m told is a good sign baby is thriving. I am also excited to see my baby, but I imagine I’ll be a nervous wreck tomorrow. Thankfully my partner takes it all in his stride!

Me! I have my 12 week scan on Friday. I haven't had any scans before and this is my first pregnancy; I'm nervous to say the least! Fingers crossed it is good news for all of us xxx

Thanks for all your messages. So good to see I am not the only one going mad with it all. Seems to be a very common thing.

The scan was a success!!! One bouncy healthy baby seen on screen with a strong heart beat. Such a huge relief. I am 12 weeks 6 days today and due 12th October.

Need to start preparing now!!!

The scan was a success!!! One bouncy healthy baby seen on screen with a strong heart beat. Such a huge relief. I am 12 weeks 6 days today and due 12th October.

Need to start preparing now!!!

I too saw a healthy active baby that took 10 mins to reposition for measurements - stubborn just like mummy 😂 I’m 12+5 and due date is 14th October x

Congrats, guys! Scan success for me, too! I am 11+ 4 weeks and have had my due date put back a couple of days to 22 Oct (was 20 Oct) which actually brings it into alignment with when I thought I ovulated. I had blood tests for various disorders, fingers crossed they are fine, I am low risk in all other respects so trying to stay positive even though I am a natural worrier!

I just saw your post in October thread. So pleased for you. It’s amazing feeling seeing them isn’t it! My partner thinks he saw a little ‘willy’ �� I feel bubba is a girl though. Maybe I should look closer at our pics, our aren’t clear as bubba wouldn’t stop bouncing around lol

Thanks love! Yes, this one was bouncing like mad too, arms and legs flailing like it was on a trampoline. I thought I saw a winkie as well, then the sonographer was like 'er, that's a leg'. Hahaa! Clearly I have a poor grasp of basic anatomy. I will have a closer look at your pics and see if I can make some more scientifically-inaccurate predictions

I think you're having a girl, babywomble Nice little round head and face. Have you got any more pics? We just have one pic (a few copies of it, tho) as the photo machine was broken and so they were giving the pics out for free and we didn't want to seem like we were taking the p***. But the baby was also wriggling so much that I don't think there was much good material to be had, anyway!

Great to see good news from those who had their scans by now. Its such a huge milestone to reach and now we can really start worrying about delivering our babies later this year! Lol xx

We got 4 but only 2 are relatively clear, I’ll attach both here. She did warn us that they wouldn’t be great as baby was moving so much, she Measured things 4 times to make sure they were accurate for this reason.

I am so happy to see all these comments and I'm not alone! Glad to hear your scan went well!! Absolutely lovely �� I have my first scan next week Saturday and I'm approximately 11 weeks by then. I am so nervous and praying that everything will go well.
