so not to get into too much detail I told my mother that I'm pregnant and shes been quite unsupportive tbh, I'm not actually that bothered as shes been the same to the last two pregnancies but loves her grandchildren to bits xx
I haven't told my mum yet but her reaction to my last pregnancy wasn't good, because I have 3 children (2 older teens and a 4 year old) she thinks I should be done, I miscarried last year and she said it was for the best...not a great reaction, so dreading telling her
Im dreading twlling my mum. Last year when i miscarried she was upset but then followed with......well you wouldnt have coped anyway! Yeah cheers mum!
She helps us out alot with childcare ao i know shell just be panicking that ill want her to have them both!
Xx
My mom was completely unsupportive with every announcement, and skated over my mc. She's never been particularly supportive with anything that doesn't fit with how she thinks things should be, and has made it clear she will not have the 3 children at the same time so one will always now miss out. It's disappointing and hurtful but not unexpected.
tbh my mum doesn't watch any of my kids as shes medically unable to as shes really unwell, so I never have anyone watching my kids unless its an emergency however my SIL will be watching kids for a couple of hours on Saturday to allow me and hubby some time on our own to go shopping. but other than my SIL and my sister once in a blue moon I have my kids all the time, I very rarely go out and if I do I'm back before 12 so I don't see why people are upset I'm pregnant.
I had a PPH the last time but now that the midwifes and doctors know that I'm sure there will be extra appointments and stuff and they'll be ready for it this time xx
