Anyone else getting comments about their size etc?

Lol. I get that I'm looking big quite a lotand am I sure it's not twins .. but also I know that i am looking big so I understand where the comments are coming from. In fact I felt more hurt when someone told me I was looking small! Lol I don't mind though. I've been waiting for this baby bump for so so long and it's been such a tough journey I'm just so glad I have a bump that people can talk about!! After this one hubby is getting the snip so I'm enjoying my last pregnancy

Bit of an update- I've since put on more weight -another half stone (figure I'm one of those that piles it on at the end lol) but thanks to the support from you lovely ladies I'm not worrying about it. After all, my little girl is getting bigger because of it so it's a good thing !

Thanks. I do have to deal with one student who likes to tell me every Monday that I'm getting fatter. I work with challenging teens and this one thinks he's being funny and doesn't know boundaries. I really want to slap him every time.

Every pregnancy is different. My sisters have all put on different amounts of weight for each pregnancy.

I'm also entering the rapid growth stage if I get asked if I'm off on maternity leave soon one more time that wI'll make me flip lol. I'm in work 3 days before my due date lol. Hope she stays in there that long!

I'm the head of a schools IT department. I've been getting comments on my weight from my coworkers. I absolutely hate it. I was completely skinny before I got pregnant. Now, it's noticeable that I have a tiny bump. Took this yesterday...

Got a comment from a mum on the school run this morning. She passed me in the classroom and went 'oh look at you! You look lovely!' Made me smile

Thank you! And yes it's my first. I'm honestly shocked that I already got a bump going on and that my coworkers already notice it.... kind of would have been nice to not be so noticeable yet in public... oh well..

that is amazing i never started to show till i was 20 weeks even now i would say im a bit smaller than yourself - ive not had the 'oh how long do you have left' or 'arnt you big' i think im just carrying it well with being tall and a size 6 when i fell pregnant i was still in my jeans last week lol

and its not very round just look like i have a gut haha which increases in size as the day goes on xx

Yeah, by the end of the day I swear I'm bigger then I was when I woke up.... 2 weeks ago was just straight bloat... now I'm not so sure...

oh your bump is deffo visible i just had bloat until recently.

everyone says im tiny considering ive got just over 14 weeks left but im happy with that as long as the baby is fit and well and means i can lose the baby weight quicker

I'm hoping not to gain much in terms of weight... however one thing I have begun experiencing is a wee bit of leakage from my boobs... not even sure if that's even normal at 8 and a half weeks.

People seem to think I am closer to due date than I am, it is annoying but people at work are very complimentary which is nice.
The way I see it, no matter how much weight we gain, it is for an amazing reason and it can be sorted once baby is here and even then, for a while once baby is here, will any of us care about a wobbly belly or some extra pounds? We will all be too in love, too pre-occupied and far too tired.
I know I will lose the weight after I have had baby so I try not to concern myself with it too much at the moment xx

Beautiful bumps ladies ! Very interestingly my midwife has measured my bump and apparently it's not grown to the degree they would expect (despite being 32 weeks I'm measuring 28.5) going to the hospital for a scan today to get accurately measured- not worried as measuring the belly is hardly accurate when determining baby size !

Size comments used to really get to me .... and the extra hormones making me super emotional didn't help either.

But I realised after a small incident that some people really don't mean anything bad by it at all it is usually just one of those off the cuff comments.

I am 30 and at the time was 20 wks pregnant with twins and my 19 year old cousin was 24 weeks at the time. My granny who is amazing and who hilariously says things without thinking about it told me how she met up with my cousin for lunch and how great she looked and how she had asked after me and if my bump was huge because it was twins. My granny continued to tell me how she told her that my bump was much rounder than my cousins and really I was just round all over!!
I swear if I didn't love the woman so much I could have choked her lol but instead I got really upset and started crying while my husband stifled giggles!! but my granny was devastated that what she had said could be taken so hurtfully and she really didn't mean it.

With a bit of hindsight I was just being over emotional and as my bump has grown I have really started to love my pregnancy body and now 29 weeks I actually feel the most confident and sexy in my body that I have ever felt in my life!!
