i go for my gender scan on friday and i also get a dvd of the baby..

they said if i bring a cd they will use that as the backing music to the dvd..

does anyone have any ideas as to what songs i could use for this?

Hmmm that's a bit tricky! I would go for a song that has some sort of meaning for you and your OH... do you have a 'special' song? Sorry I'm not much help, I wouldn't have any idea tbh! I would just use something that was personal to me!

well, to give a bit of background history, me and the babies dad had already split up, and were just friends when i fell pregnant..

although there was arguments wen i found out i was pregnant, we're fine now & are still good friends and he says he will be involved but i now have a new boyfriend..

well i've been with him coming up to 2months..

he already has 2 little boys and i admire the fact that he has taken me on when i was 10 weeks pregnant (i'm nearly 17 weeks now)

because a lot of men wouldnt even get with a girl that had a child, never mind only just pregnant..

my boyfriend came to my last scan with me, and is coming to find out what it is on friday.. he's forever rubbing and kissing my belly, etc, he cant wait!!

so we dont have a ''song'' as such.. i was just going to use a lullaby but think i want something with words now??

my song is ''you're a superstar'' by love inc.. but i cant really take dance music - it would look like the baby was raving in my belly when its moving

this song means loads 2 me.. i did morris dancing for 17 years and this was ''our song'' - that we used 2 play when we needed 2 lift our spirits up, and at the end of championships when we'd won we'd all b singing it, every single year

the words start off really good for a baby, but then it goes off to being lonely etc..

Hahaha that would be sooo cute. I would go for something a bit bouncy and light-hearted but that's just me... can you not take a few and decide after the scan? That way once you'd seen the images you could decide which song would 'go with it' if you know what I mean
