an expectant daddy for xmas ??

I know I have more than 2 months to think about this, but yesterday I started hinting about what I would like for our anniversary+my birthday+xmas (I would be pleased with just one meaningful gift) and I have reason to suspect that OH has already ordered it for me !!! (I saw him opening his laptop and typing his credit card number) .....

I would like to give him something really special this year but I'm clueless.... Any ideas please ?

hmmm, i think its hard for anyone else here to say, as we dont know your OH. Surley you know his likes/dislikes? other then that Urchin does some lovely finger print pendants/keyrings??

What about something he might not be able to do for a while? Like an activity of some sort or tickets for him and a friend to a gig?

When I was pregnant with Ani, I gave my OH a little camcorder (not an expensive one - lowlowl budget) with a letter from Ani saying that she would love hime to take lots of film of her...but if he brought it into the delivery room to film labor, mummy would ram it down his throat!!!



He loved it, got all teary and as far as I know, still has the note in his bedside table.

I'm determined not to get anything sprog-related for the bloke for Christmas. Or anything which can be appropriated by the sprog. Usually, there's always kiddie-toys in the stocking between other stuff, but it just doesn't seem right this time. We've got so much stuff for Horatio already, so it should be no more baby presents, at least that's how we feel. We've talked about it and he wouldn't get me any baby stuff either. Just because we're becoming parents it doesn't mean we stop being individuals, which have also interests outside the pregnancy/parenting thing.
The only kiddy-toy related exception is that he'll get some Lego, as every year. Wouldn't be Christmas without it.

Apart from that I've got no idea, sorry, but could use some myself.
