Any horror stories??

Hey Ladies...I am preparing myself for the witch to turn up this week so I am looking round on E Bay for OPK's etc (not going to buy until she actually DOES show up)...never bought anything on E Bay before but cant believe they have this stuff so cheap...is it to be trusted? If I order the OPK's/preseed/thermometers etc will I get what I order? Anyone got any E Bay warnings for me?????

Hi JarJar, ive not used ebay but i used a website called SME fertility. I got 20 OPKs and 10 HPTs for £8 including delivery (roughly) and they were good. Not sure how that compares to the ebay prices

I am a self confessed Ebay Whore!!! Hubby is even worse than me!

I always get what I order and have never had any problems - In fact not so long ago I had an Item that didn't turn up - so I spoke to the seller and they sent me another one - then the first one turned up so I got 2!! Me being naughty I kept them both! haha!

I think you are pretty well protected as a buyer on ebay,

I have used the same seller (fertility plan) on ebay for opks and pg tests and got .

I always check the sellers feedback before buying anything, if they have loads of negative I wont touch them.

i dont use it i found wilkinsons great for opk's 7 for approx 3quid and i went to pound shop for hpts although ran out when i really needed one and i was lol

I use eBay all the time and have never had a problem and normally get the items very quick! You can get so many bargains but like someone else said, make sure you check if they have negative feedback!

I used Ebay in the last few weeks for OPK's and found 30 OPK tests and a free BBT thermometer for £6.99 plus couple of pounds postage from Ebay Shop: Babymad Fertility Specialists, paid by paypal and they arrived very quickly (couple of days)

I agree with EmmaMb - You won't need them, don't order a few too days early like me and have to give them away!!

I buy quite a bit of stuff on Ebay - mostly Benefit make up - and its always the real thing, often bankrupt stock or the packaging has a typo! If you check for positive feedback you should be fine.

Ebay have tightened up their regulations a lot over the years! If it's not as advertised then you are very well protected. Just make sure you read the whole advert including delivery times and costs (sometime different from the heading) and if you have any unanswered questions always ask before you bid!
I've been stung a couple of times as a seller since buyers are so protected only because the royal mail is so awful, but sorted it easily. Good luck!!

I use an ebay seller called fertilityplan and get dip strip opk's from them which are pretty reliable (about £4 for 25). There are other similar cheapies but these ones seem to be the best. If you want brand name ones (ie Clearblue Digi ones) youre generally better off getting them from Amazon. x

All the OPK pics I see on here seem to be the little green strip things, are they generally what I should expect to get from E Bay?

Hope you don't need them either! And if you do have to give them away, im sure you wont mind if your pregnant!!

Yes most ebay opk have the green tip and the pregnancy ones are blue. I've never had a bad batch yet.

im a ebay junkie hun lol, ive had one problem with buying stuff from them, but it wasnt anything to do with TTC.
i always use the same seller when getting OPK'S and HPT'S. there has never been anything wrong with them.
plus you are always covered with Pay Pal if anything goes wrong. xx

Ive used ebay for years now and never once had a problem recieving anything so Im sure you will be fine. I use fertility plan, very cheap NHS suppliers and they arrive uber fast......xxxx

I just searched fertility plan in eBay 4 iPhone and it came up as second item opk & hpt,clicked on it and seller was fertility plan,click on see sellers other items and that should do it. There's prob an easier way but that's the way I do it xx
