I've not really read anything, and Jessica's been a little angel with everything.
I just wanted to have a read up on things that I could be doing, or shouldn't, or what is suggested etc.
I prob wouldn't follow it to a T, but I think it could be handy for routines, and maybe weaning?
And maybe other things?

I had a few great Pregnancy books... but no Baby books.

Gina Ford?! I found it good to look at and then do what I wanted to!! Corey kind of made his own routine, and so now we stick with that.

Baby Whisperer I have hurd does a fairly good book. I havent used any though, so I cant comment.

As for weaning books, I konw GF does one, as does Karmela someone or other, iv seen it in Mothercare... try searching amazon or something... sorry im useless!!

I read the Baby Whisperer and found it quite helpful. I was also recommended Babywise by Ezzo and Bucknam although i havent got that yet. I read some of Gina Ford, but it seems v regimented but a lot of people really rave about it.

TBH I havent followed any routine to the letter although there is v good advice in them - hope you find something helpful.

Don't waste your money and go with the flow!

The basic can be found on the net and you can't force a baby into a routine they will do it when they are ready!

As for a book telling you what you are doing wrong- trust your instinct. Every baby is different.

I made my own weaning book from info I found on the net- with all the materials it cost be about £4.
