God I hate needles!!

All they seem to have done to me during my pregnancy is stick needles in me, taking bloods, glucose tests, Anti-D's....

*Touch wood* this is now my last jab until baby comes so woohoo for me!!

I'm awful with them though, I can't get my breath, break out in a cold sweat and (quite embarassingly) passed out last time when I had to have my Anti-D and give bloods in the same sitting

So, just tomorrow to get through and next time I have one I'll be having my baby and too preoccupied to care :rotfl:

Aww, I hope it goes okay for you. I know how you feel, I'm a huge needlephobe! I just make sure I don't look, and squeeze my OH's hand for dear life! I felt faint after my anti d too, and the bloody midwife was trying to take my blood pressure...I was mumbling that I felt faint and asked her to wait a minute and she got all huffy with me! Let's hope you have someone nicer doing yours!

Make sure you eat a good breakie and if its bad for you then take a couple of paracemtamol a couple of hours prior.

When she is putting the needle in find something in the room to focus on, a pictur.
