Hi everyone,

Just wanted other people’s experiences on having an anterior placenta and feeling movement! I know everyone is different but it’s nice to get a bit of an idea of what others experienced for a bit of reassurance :)

I’m 21+3 and have felt ‘bubbles’, not necessarily daily but enough that I’m aware of them. I haven’t felt anything for around 4 days so I went to the GP yesterday and heartbeat was okay, although GP wasn’t too confident so took ages to pick up which was worrying initially!

Did anyone have this where they didn’t feel anything for a while? And when did the movement become more regular etc? I’m quite an anxious person anyway so this lack of feeling certainly doesn’t help that! My midwife hasn’t been overly helpful either.

Thanks! :)

I have one anterior and one posterior at the moment I’m 16 weeks and feel twin one (bubbles) but not twins 2 with ds2 I didn’t feel movement until 23 week

I also had an anterior placenta with my previous pregnancy. I couldn't feel the baby for ages until she grew so big she couldn't move. I remember that when I would take a bath, she would start kicking loads. I couldn't really feel them that much but I could see the ripples in the water.
I honestly think it sucks though. I had a friend who was due 3 days before me and she would tell me all about the kicks she was getting and I only got proper ones nearer to 24 weeks.
Good luck hun!x

I didn't feel proper movements until quite late because of this, so don't worry, it's normal. x
