Had my first antenatal class last night. It was fun and interesting but at the same time I felt like it was all common sense but I don't know if that's just because I used to be an antenatal teacher and already. It's my OHs first child and he found out loads and it's made him determined to quit smoking so I'm really glad we went. Most of the women there hadn't even had their first scans yet. I'm quite surprised that there are not more hospitals through out the UK that offer it to be honest. They also run another one for multiples and then 3 sessions after 30weeks about labour etc and then one at 36 weeks to talk about induction and elective and emergency c-section. That's a lot more classes than I was offered with my son!

I'm booking my OH in for separate classes too, you have to pay for it but it's a dads only one. I think he will be more open about his concerns and actually ask questions without any women present and especially without me.

EXCITED for baby now! Eep!
