I was one of the furthest along there!!!

It dragged a little as the woman doing it waffled on a bit and I was surprised at how much I already knew  . Didn't put me off in the slightest :D , I had a couple of little panicky moments when she talked about the baby's head coming out but other than that it was fine.

Don't much like the sound of any of the pain relief as all has side effects but will just see how I go on the day.

Was a long day and one woman got wheeled back in a wheelchair after the ward tour and some of the other ladies were all up and down fidgeting so I felt quite proud of myself that I didn't feel too bad.

I feel ready now and just want to get it over and done with.

I'm quite excited about antenatal classes. Mine aren't for another two or three weeks.

We went on the hospital tour today, I felt bump envy as I was definitely the smallest there, I didn't think I was going *that* early...

ETA: DH felt sick JUST on the tour, God knows what he'll be like at the classes let alone at the birth! *shakes head*

I've had two of my classes so far (out of four) and they have made me feel a bit queasy at times, especially when the midwife handed round a piece of card with a 10cm diameter hole cut out of it  Just glad I don't have to look at any of the gory, icky stuff myself. I could never be a birthing partner for someone though, I would definitely be fainting everywhere!

lol at your DH Nicky, I bet I'll be like that too! :D

Aww glad it went well hun!

We just had one 3 hour class...an hour of which was breastfeeding talk with a woman playing with a knitted boob! :bored:

But think it helped OH a bit as he is easily distracted if I try and give him information at home! Now he likes using big words like 'Mucus' and 'Colstrum' to try and impress me that he's all clued up!

I can't wait for my classes but there not until september! Glad you enjoyed yours though hun
