another section question

Hi

I know im being a pain by now
Last night i was having a shower and just above most of the insition it feels hard and swollen and about an inch of the actual scar is a bit red.
Inever had this with Kiara and when Bernie took a peak at it he thinks it might be just my stretch marks making it feel puffy?? but it didnt feel like this 2 days ago??
Any input would be great thanks
Also i woke up with chills and my fingers tingling (dont know if that has anyhting to do with it)

Could just be your body healing, but could be the start of an infection especially as you've had chills. Worth getting checked out either way. Hope you feel better

My scar has a big lump underneath it, I think its to do with the infection I had post-op. I am seeing Dr about it on Thursday.

Get it checked if you are worried.

sorry hun didnt have this, although my wound did get infected and has only just healed, if your worried i would get it checked i had mine checked about 10 times

Hope its nothing too bad..I had nasty infection in my wound..it was nearly a week after having baby, and I felt dreadful for 2 days-like the worst hangover, and the worst flu both together...I could hardly speak I was so lousy...I was shivering under a blanket. My wound then started pouring horrid yellow liquid A visit to the hozzie and 2 courses of strong anti biotics soon sorted me out.

just got back he said outside isnt infected but inside is so am on antibiotics for 10 days :S

my wound got so infected last time, that half the wound split open and starting pouring liquid out. It was soo scary, but the hospital just covered it will sterile dressing and sent me home again.

i have to have a section again next time, im so scared of getting an infection!

I hope your feeling better! bath with tea tree oil it works so quick at healing infection

I dont think its more common in second ones i was told its common in most surgeries as your opened up and exposed.

hun i had this and had infection and like paradysso mine came open not much just a little hole the size of a penny apparently this is quite common with infections as the fluid needs a way out but it was quite scary i needed bath towels to mop up the fluid that was pouring out the first time it burst it soaked me down to my knees once the infection starts going you should find that lumpiness go down a bit

its so scary when it pops. mine split 50% of the scar. can imagine how much poured out, it was like some one had sprayed me with a hose pipe i was soaked, i was so confused as i didnt know where it was coming from, thought i may have wet myself lol
