Sorry, I'm such a nightmare for symptom spotting, but I don't have anyone else to ask really and I know you guys don't mind realllllly......

For the past few evenings/nights my BH's have been really bad, I can hardly sleep etc and they hurt a lot more than during the day. Last night it was so bad I thought I'd make something of it, so I went on the birthing ball for a bit, since I couldn't sleep anyway. So I was rolling around, bouncing a bit, writing words, and it just felt really painful and it was all in the bump. Kept sending me to the loo too but hardly anything came out. (pee btw, not poo! LOL sorry tmi)

In the end I started yawning, so I went back to bed and after struggling to find a position that was reasonably comfortable, I eventually got to sleep. It's been like this for the past few evenings where the pain is agony but in the end I'm so tired I end up just having to go to sleep, or having a paracetamol before sleep. Should I be staying up and trying to make something come of it? I mean the birthing ball made the pains worse, they were all low down in my bump... if I had kept going could it have made things happen?

Now it's morning again, and I can't feel anything other than discomfort and less harsh BH's.

What do you make of this? :wall: I mean I've heard that lying down in labour can slow things down due to the gravity on the baby sort of stopping it a bit, so should I try sleeping sitting up? Cos sitting up the pains would still be there... and I'm thinking pains is a good thing...?

All I know is babies come when they want, but wanted to say I hope you feel more relaxed today, and enjoy the sun before your LO arrives, and then all this waiting will fade away, very best wishes

Redshoes is right leckershell, dont sypton spot, take it easy and see what happens.
Babies are due very rarely before there DD anyway babes. Once you know your having contractions and there coming at set time are frequent and pianful then you will know something is happening.

My god you have described my last few nights to the letter, i just don't have a birthing ball to bounce on,
