Yesterday while I was out shopping I was looking at some newborn clothes when a rather nasty woman purposely pushed me into the clothes rail. Bump took a big knock as I was pushed from behind. When I turned around the woman told me 'to watch my fat arse'. I was in shock and I shouted back at her that I was pregnant. She then tried to get the security guard to throw me out the shop claiming I attacked her but he refused as he saw her push me. I was still in shock over it and I didn't feel much pain until later. So I phoned hospital and was ordered straight in. Thankfully everything is alright. Bubba's heartbeat is still as strong. I never got a scan as it was late at night and scan dept was closed but I am having my growth scan on Thursday anyway. I can't believe how nasty people can be! It is making me not want to leave the house incase it happens again.

That is horrible of her. Some people are so rude.

I have had to stop wearing my wedding rings now due to my fingers swwelling up and i find people are very judgemental of me as i look quite young.

Some people just need to learn some manners.

Glad to hear everything is ok with baby though and good luck for Thursday x x x

What a horrible person!

Glad you and LO are ok!

What a cow! Had you not been pregnant I would've suggested you floored the biatch

glad you and bubs are ok, I can understand you not wanting to go out

I cannot believe there are people out there that would do that, its awful.
I hope you and baby are ok

What a nasty piece of work she sounds like.... You did well to keep your calm with her.

Glad everything is ok with bubba though

Wow!

She must've been a mentalist or something! What a nasty piece of work - I think I woulda gone loopy at her if that were me - I have a bad temper at the best of times!

The security guard should've chucked her out imo!

glad ur ok hun. i wud of pund da biatch. tell u wot is da world coming too

personally that women would have had me shouting at her!! I've already had my friend pull me away from people who are rude like that. its totally different but i had a huge go at some girl it toys r us cos she totally ignored me when she served us and i was asking her something.
Some people are so lovely about you being pregnant and take real care when around you, and others really dont give a shit, ok so babies are tough when they're inside you but its irrelevant, my baby means more to me then anything else and god help anyone who does anything that could potentially hurt her.
Hope your scan goes ok, i'm sure baby will be fine and it'll be nice for you to see him/her

Horrible woman.

I had a road rage attack a couple of weeks ago with a woman threatening to ram into my car with hers. I screamed at her that I was pregnant but she was mental and I don't think she heard. Then she followed me to Sainsbury and started shouting at me that she was in the right  . I couldn't even get a word in edgeways.
I don't do screaming in the street like some fish wife so I calmly took a photo of her number plate and reported her to the police, now, if she does any traffic offences this incident will be taken into account and she received a letter to tell her so. The police were very sympathetic and took it very seriously as I told him how dangerous it could have been for me and baby as I had just been signed off work for a fortnight with heavy bleeding.
Haha, I don't get mad I get even 8)

 Some people are soo rude. I'd have gone beserk stupid cow

Thats Awful!
Im glad everything is fine though. I would have requested the Security Guard phoned the police and had her up for assault! He would have been your witness and I bet it was on CCTV.

I was in TKaxx on sunday and some silly cow was shoving me in the side to get to some clothes I was looking at. (I was laready there looking when she came along) I shoved her back and walked away. I could feel my blood starting to boil.

 I really can't believe how nasty some people can be! I agree with Tilly. Glad baby is ok

Oh and I know what you mean about leaving the house. Just before I got married in December (I would have been around 14/15 weeks) I had put on even more weight but I felt that I didn't look pregnant, just fat :( it got to the point when I didnt want to leave the house in case I saw someone I knew. I very nearly suffered depression because of it. Try not to fall into the trap of not wanting to go out because it's a hard one to get out of

Also, I am so careful with my bump these days since losing all fluid as there is nothing to protect baby if my bump were to get knocked. I walk around the supermarket with my hands infront of my tummy. People should think more instead of assuming that baby's cant be hurt inside mum's tummy.

OH MY GOD!! :x That makes me so mad!! I can't believe people can be so evil! What the hell was she playing at?!

Glad you're both ok though hun  xx

That's awful! I think you can still file a police report though? Might be worth a go, if she does that to a pregnant lady she's a danger to the streets, could be worse next time :(

Hi Joan,

What a dreadful woman!!! And you too Hazel! It's really not what you need right now (I was roadraged by an awful man at the school a while back and although he didn't physicaly threaten me, I was very upset afterwards!!!) I'm glad you took a picture of the number plate and reported the nutter!! It'll hopefully make her think twice about doing it again - don't know what is wrong with some people!!!

I think I may have reported the shop lady to the police (they almost certainly would have had it on cctv) just to let the cow know that I wasn't going to let her get away with it!
