Animals behaving strangely

Hi All
Was just wondering if anyone's pets behaved any differently towards them whilst they were pregnant?
My cat hasn't acted any differently (young male...typical...) but a friend of ours had a cat who was very protective of her while she was pregnant. After the baby was born the dog was v protective of the new baby.

it hasnt happened to me but i have heard about it happening, like someones dog growling if a stranger went too near the baby

My Westie dog has definately got more "clingy" to me and wont even go to the full length of his lead when out on a walk, my jack russell bitch doesnt give a hoot tho

Both of my cats have become more clingy towards me, and the female one keeps padding my belly with her paws! She never did this before.

My cat only pads my belly in the morning when he wants feeding and I'm in bed! He knows exactly where my bladder is!!!
