Angel Heart Monitors

Hi Guys

I've just been given an Angel Heart Monitor from a friend who used it througout her pregnancy.

I'm 13.5 weeks now - any tips on how to use these things? I've got some KY jelly but I think i'm aiming the probe too far up my stomach???

Any tips?

Not too sure about the Angel Heart Monitors but with the doppler the MW put it just above my pubic bone,

dont know whether that will help!!??

i dont think the angel heart monitors work untill your 20 weeks+

is it a mw doppler or like the one in argos?

 

Are you sure that's what it's called? I can't find it anywhere hun to let you know when you can use it x

I have an Angel Sounds fetal doppler its great and I heard heart beat from when I got it at 14 weeks, just move the monitor over your belly until you hear the heart beat...you will know when u find it x

ive got an angel sound as well..just put it over your uterus..make sure you use a good lubricant and be patient!

ive been eyeing one up on ebay... but i know if i get one it will be permantly stuck to my belly

Hi Girls

Yes it's an Angel sounds monitor. I tried out out over the weekend, moving it from the top of my p-hair to my belly button and all the places in between.

Didn't find a heartbeart (except my own!) but my friend said 'cos I'm only 14 weeks the baby is still very small.

However I DID hear it moving around. It wasn't just wind or stomach noises, because even my skeptical OH was convinced. It got noisier when I moved or coughed and at one point it sounded like it was knocking! How wierd!

I do hear baby's heartbeat every evening as soon as joe comes back from work, that keeps my mind at rest and i try not to pick it up again cos ill end up with OCD!!! i do hear it move aswell..its so weird.
