You all seem so organised! I am really rubbish at Christmas. I think last year I managed to completely fail to send Christmas cards to anyone barring family.

I can do the buying the food in, inviting people, actual Christmas day stuff fine, but doing presents and cards and such is my failing.

I'd like to be reformed this year and actually get all these things done on time! Please help me get whipped into shape!

I don't really have many people to buy for - my Husband, my BIL, My sisters, My Mum and Stepdad, my soul sister and nephew. There are a couple of other people I would like to get small bits for too.

So please, tell me what I need to do and when! Give me your tips and ideas! I need help

Oh hunnie I was thinking this a few days ago, I haven't even got one thing yet! I think i'll be awful this year :(

Maybe make a list of who you need to buy for an ideally what you would like to get, maybe get one per week and wrap?? And I shall also take my own advice?? lol xxx

Make a list of who to buy for - mine is on my phone so always with me.

I don't try to start too early specifics cos I get stressed out. But what I do is if we're ever somewhere different - like we are in a weekend break just now - I look at the shops here, little towns etc often have unusual gift shops so I look at stuff I couldn't get back home.

Another thing I do if I'm struggling thinking for people - I buy little generic things - I'm thinking about hampers this year, but I'm not crafty, so today we bought some jam and elderflower wine - cos they could be gifts for a number of folk.

So like maybe if your doing your weekly shop - add some sweeties, or a wee box of toiletries. X

On my iPhone - so cant see tickers :(

I used to hate Christmas too... But my boyfriend has made me love it!
My suggestions would be to write a list of who you need to buy for. And how much you want to spend.
I'm a big fan of online shopping.
And I always sit one night and wrap them all up. Then put them under tree or in bags.

I don't hate Christmas, I'm just really crap at organising it ;-)

I definitely need to get some kind of list and ideas of what to get people written down!

I am crap at pressies in general.

I know who we need to buy for but very rarely know what to get them?? This goes for Birthday's as well...

I feel terrible that I don't know what people I love would actually like  and we normally end up giving neices and nephews money. Parents get a bottle of something or vouchers and siblings get a card LOL (we have too many!).... So uninspired.

I am hoping when it comes to our own bambino I'll be a little more knowledgable about what he/she likes :) although this year they are only going to be teeny so we really won't go overboard.

Other than the gift aspect though I love Crimbo. We save up all our silver change through-out the year and that buys our tree / food / booze! We are well stocked for any guests..

We go to our parents for actual dinner, so we don't have the expense of a turkey although I buy a crown and usually do that between Crimbo and NY.

Make a list of everyone you want to buy for as others have said. I love present shopping!! This year I will be super organised as I'm starting mine next month before baby is here :) Boots 3 for 2 and you can't go wrong! x

Honestly I'm as bad as you ! I have nothing bought ? I always forget people for cards and gifts . Our tree won't go up until the 23 most likely as I'm sure lily will pull out of it and drive me batty  I

Definitely start with a list... :) a budget if you don't want to over spend! Do you have idea's of what you could buy?

Ive created a folder (one for Brooke and one for Charlie) on my bookmark bar and every time i see something that i like i bookmark it, this way i have a list ready that i can work with! otherwise ill just forget and end up buying way to much, also when family members ask what they can get the kids instead of the 'I dont know, i dont even know what im getting them' normal response i can just give them something of my list!

im going to make homemade biscuit/cookies this year and put them in a pretty cellophane bag and a nice pretty ribbon, i may give them to nans from the kids!

We won't have a tree as no-where to put one. Not allowed to put decs up (renting and nothing is allowed on walls or ceilings) so as usual will be a plain boring christmas lol. Probs why I hate it so much.

At least this year I have a good excuse not to see my parents or the in-laws. No traveling 3 and 4 hours 8 months preggers for me thanks!

Really dunno what going to buy people - most if not all our money and energy/thoughts are on the baby this year.
Last year I was completly ready by November!

This is me, but backwards... this year I intend to be fully ready by November, but last year we found out I was pregnant in mid-November and we were so disorganised (and I was SO tired) that Christmas barely happened - I couldn't tell anybody why I was being so disorganised as our scan wasn't until mid-January so I think it freaked out a few people as I'm normally completely obsessed with Christmas

How did everyone react?
I'm hoping I don't get called all sorts and snobbed (my parents probably will tho)

Just going shopping for 2 hours yeaturday for BILs wedding stuff completly buggered me up :/
