Young Dexter was born today @ 8:56pm 13.08.08 weighing in 7oz 6lbs
Massive congrats to Amanda and David, he took his time but i bet he's worth it!!
I hope she gets lots of this tonight
cause she bloody deserves it.

Hi Ladies, Just thought I would update you on the DL with Miss Amanda...
DAY 3 - 13*08*08
AMANDA IS OFF TO THEATRE, LETS WISH HER WELL XXXXXX
20:30pm: Hey ladies, literally just had a text from Amandas OH David. She is stuck at 9cm and is going in for a C section very soon. I will keep you posted but I assume young Dexxy will be with us safe and sound within the next couple of hours.

CONTRACTIONS, DRUGS AND OPERATION GO DEXXY!!!!
Lots to update today, looks like today will most likely be young Dexxys Bday!!!!
2:30am: Get txt from Amanda, she has lost some waters and her mucus plug. Contractions HURT (poor woman!!)
9:54am: Amanda has had her fix
, she had some diamorphone which was good and Epidural which she says is "Fabulous" , shes feeling exhausted and told me she was 4cm dialated at 8am so they are going to recheck her at about 12ish. G and A Made her 
over David. Ooopsie!
4:50pm: Amanda is now 9cm, shes hoping to start pushing around 7:30pm... Poor love is starving
DAY 2 - 12*08*08
TINY CONTRACTIONS
19:31pm: Well with any luck the gel might be doing its job, Amanda has been looked at and is apparently contracting, although she cannot feel anything happening...
They have decided to leave her to it and see where things stand in the morning as the labour world is currently full
Hopefully with any luck she will progress in the morning And Dexxy will follow fashion of the Olympics and make a sprint for it!!
GIMME SOME JELLY BABY!!
11:29am: Bit of good news, they have FINALLY administered the prostin gel and told Amanda to wait for 6 hours to see if contractions will start!! So we need loads of these
with any luck things will be go go Dexxy by 4pm!!!
Here's a piccie of the gorgeus lass on the birthing ball... (I think she plans to bounce Dexxy out )

AWAITING ATTENSION...
11:58am : Had a few txts from Amanda, she got to the hospital as discussed this morning at 8am, however they have not started anything and atm she is currently "Waiting" attension (Poor mite). They were deciding whether to give her the gel on the ward or take her down to the labour suit but that was a few hours ago... (They said this is because she is high risk due to previous DVT).
Fingers triple crossed they sort her out very soon!! with any extra luck maybe Dexxy will make a move on his own so he can sort the docs out himself

Hopefully the wee fella makes a move on his own and sorts those docs out for making his mummy wait about!
