Hi Girls,
sorry for not being around for the last month or so, my little girl is now 7 weeks old and has taken over my life.
I could really do with some advice and reassurance that things will get better and there is light at the end of the tunnel as I am at my wits end at the moment.
My princess sleeps throughout the day but is a nightmare at night - she will not go in her cot and cries all the time. We spend forever burping her and should have brought shares in infacol with the amount of it we go through. My husband is unable to help during the night as he has to go into work early in the morning and needs to be alert, so the night time comforting is all over to me.
Over the last few days we decided to start using gripe water instead of infacol and she has started bringing up her feeds - this is really demoralising at 4.30 in the morning as I have to start feeding her all over again. Needless to say I won't be using gripe water again.
Will it get better? How do I change her pattern of sleep during the day so she sleeps at night instead?
