2 people ive spoken to over the last 2 days have looked at me weird when i have said we dont want to find out if its a boy or a girl, they ask why! in a stupid voice. and omg.. id wanna know i cant belvei ur gonna wait?

i feel like im in such a minority for not finding out,, do people think im weird?

Same here, I felt like I had to justify myself all the time which peed me off a little bit as it's a personal choice, whatever you want to do, you do it, people just like to give their opinions on all things baby

im not finding out and most older ppl have said 'good for you'.
but younger ppl who have had babies my age have said that its better if you find out, as you feel more closer to it and can buy clothes.
But personally I don't think there is many surprises we have in life now, and this is a huge one. I would rather find out on the day as feel that i want all the excitement of the guessing and not knowing. Besides im not fussed what i have 1st time round. You can buy so many neutral clothes and prams that its not important to find out for me. (although hubby wants to know!)

I don't agree that it's 'better'. You still bond with your baby whether you know whats between its legs or not!

Yes I like going out and buying little baby boy outfits for him but I would equally enjoy waiting for the surprise.

How stupid and insensitive can people be?!! It's not at all weird not to want to know and a lovely surprise for you when the day arrives. It's all part of women being public property when they get pregnant. I have to say I am quite surprised by the comments people make like have you been trying long ? I thought that was really rude and nosey!

I dont think you at all weird, we arent finding out after all we didnt try for a boy or a girl we just wanted another addition to our family, whether it be a boy or a girl it doesnt matter at all.
