am i the oldest

aw thanks hun I need it badly. Just spotted someone's ticker and they're due the same date I would've been  anyway we'll just have to do lots and lots of bdancing this month and get sorted.

sending lots of

My midwife says that it sometimes seems to be a pattern, as there was a spate of m/c here where i work but before that there werent any for ages and ages and then all of a sudden there were quite a few.

seems strange really.

it does just seem to be pot luck they say its 1 in 5 but nearly everyone I know has had one!!! but the saving grace is that they all went on the have healthy babies so    I will be lucky too. Someone said on here before treat it like a trial run which is really what I'm doing I am very impatient really this is only our third month trying which in the grand scheme of things is not lenght.

it's strange how things work out. i fall really easy, have crap pregnancies and terrible births (all sections) but falling pregnant, no problem. and (touches wood) my babies have all been fine.

i am sure that we will hear great news from you soon and three months isnt really that long is it.

best of luck hun wishing you a BFP soon.

Hi Smurf

I think it's one in four or five pregnancies end in miscarriage, rather than one in four people have them....that's why it seems so many people you know have suffered one. Crumby isn't it? But at least we're not alone

yep really crummy

Right that's my trial run over with I'm ready for the real thing now need to bring myself up today feeling a bit down - my cat died at the weekend and I've to go to a family funeral on Thursday so all in all have a pretty grotty time at the moment.

oh poor you, i know how you feel.

when i was 7 months pregnant, i went to a spiritualist church with my sil and i was told that there was going to be a lot of tears within the next couple of months, well i nearly had a heart attack and said well i'm 7 months pregnant, and she said it was nothing to do with the baby. well my next door neighbour died and i was really sad, then my 17month old baby cat, barney died. we had been looking after his brother whilst my sil was on holiday and they had a fight and mittens bit barney in the lung and nothing could be done. the vets fought to save him but they couldnt do anything, it broke my heart to have him put down. my hubby had to do it as i couldnt. joshua still says how much he misses him. the perfect cat for us.

aw how awful what a shame. My cat was 10 I rescued him 3 years ago he got peritinititis no idea how he got it, he was fine on Friday and gone Saturday morning. Only good thing was hubby was with him when he died so he wasn't alone.

we have a new cat now, called 'Fred the Bed Head' named by Joshua :D

He is lovely, but he isnt Barney. but he is a really good cat, big for five months though.
