he is very pro cuddles and hates being put down, mum says im making a rod for my own back! as if he aint being cuddled he wants to be holding his arms out to me etc

They all go through that stage - they're always looking for comfort and reassurance. Just go with it and enjoy it.
I really don't have very good advice, have I? If you love it as much as B, why stop it or worry about it?

he he,. My Jess isnt a big cuddler. She is a bit better now but when she was b's age she wouldnt really go for it which upset me a wee bit. My wee sister who is 10 though is a big cuddler.

Boys are more effectionate than girls, it's when they get to toddlers that you start to harden them up ready for nursery and school.
