ive not mentioned it yet as i was hoping it would go away

but it started 2 days ago the underside of my right knee became very itchy and inflamed

i ignored it as i was at work and that night i thought it woul go away
it wasnt to bad the next day but got worse i again ignored it as i was at work

then last night i felt my right knee begin to itch adn agian it was very red
this progressed to my hands thay felt vert tight red and though there not in flamed( thay feel like thay are)
also thay feel hot and throbbing

then i stated to itch progrssivley all over my body
including my face it felt ike if i looked in the mirror id see it had ballooned up.
my eyes felt swollen

i noticed rash like blotch kept appearing and dissapearing all over my body

i tried a shower to see if it was anytjing on my clothes skin and put my clothes in the wash. it soothed it for a while but even in the shower i could feel my feet beging to itch feel tight and swollen

i went to bed last night not knowing what was going on.
i woke up this morning and the itching had subsided
butmy right knee was stll red

through out the day its got worse agian
now my hand are very red my face is throbbing my eyes fee; swollen agian
im itching everwgere and the blotchs have returned.

i have allergies and the last time i had it this bad was when i still lived up northn and my dad was coverting the atic and i found out about my dust allergies.
then my face DID swell and my whole body went up in red blothches
ive been waitng the past 2 days for that to occure
as it feels the same

but ive not been dusting or near dust or animals another allergie

have you changed washing powder, shower gel, soap, body lotion or anything?

when i was about 20 weeks pg, i suddenly started taking a reaction to radox shower gel, which was totally out of the blue.. haven't been able to use it since, just come out all blotchy and sooo itchy :(

could be something similar?

xx

Sounds really annoying. Making me itch reading about it!
I'd get it checked out with the doctor, they might be able to give you something to help relieve the itching.
I hope it's better soon, must be driving you nuts!

Maybe go see your doc and see what they say... does sound like an allergy to something. If any swelling gets worse then make sure you get checked out xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

p.s have u eaten anything that could cause a rash or reaction? My OH once had a curry that he swelled up and reacted to!

Ive got a new hand cream using it for a bout 4 days now but i left it at work yesterday so ive not had it on me
same shampoo and conditioner
same washing powder and conditoner

been using a new body lotion but ive had that for a few weeks

Im literaly sitting hear i reacting to thin air :? :? :?

WHAT ABOUT MY BODY PILLOW
im damn allergic to dust mites and if there is a buld up i itch like mad
the places i get my reaction slike the back of mt knee have close constant contact with the pillow

ive already washed the pillow case twice but the actual pillow is way to big to put in the washing machine

i hope its not the pillow i need it for sleeping im to uncomfotable with out it

ahhh

if it is the pillow i would recommend a dyson! they are the most fantastic hoovers, even for running over your duvet/sheets in between washes, they pick up EVERYTHING..

i have to admit ive not eaten much in nearly 2 days ive eaten lots of fruit and vegtable and ive had meals but ive not been able to stoamch a full meal at all
the thought of eaten a whole meal makes me feel queasy

i mean ive even resisited those caburys cream eggs and ive not touched the choccie cake

now thats worrying :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

She posted yesterday a few times and didn't mention this so I assume it's ok now

I'd go get it checked out hunny...that OC thing is itching...and v scary. It's only a bloodtest to be sure.

Good luck, hope you're feeling better, sorry if I've scared you

AH thanks for the concern Joanne and Becky
i uselly update my posts but ive been busy spending time with my lovely man.

The redness and itching stopped when i tried not using my pillow for the night though my bump ached a bit in the morning from the loss of support.
so i recon it is that that csused it
as its not returned since as ive stopped using my pillow since then
ive washed the cover and im going to get a hold of some stuff to try and clean the pillow as its way to big to fit in the washing machine.

im really hoping my Collier does not have to go through having my allerges but with my family histroy id be suprised if he dosnt have allergies :(

 he will not though

sarah

So glad everything seemed to clear up, hope you can sort the pillow out rather than having to replace it!!

Is james off this week?

Sorry you can't use your pillow :(
But I'm glad you found an explanation for the reaction

I waved my man off last night wearing his stripes lol. His first night wearing his stripes and there were 11 burglaries on his patch, a house fire with reported people in there and car thefts!!

Bless, i let him sleep till he needed no more today  , just tonight and tomorrow now.

Oh and thanks Sarafet   im glad it wasnt to serous either :D

try just using a normal pillow between your legs and supporting bump whilst you try and clean the other one, i use this every night and it seems to work, ok it wont be as affective as your pregnany pillow but it might offer bump a bit of support
