Am I being unreasonable

My boyfriend's parents knew it was my scan day today and they haven't even text me to see how the baby was or to wish me luck and I am feeling really really pissed off by it. I really feel the need to say something but I won't out of respect but I just don't understand why they wouldn't it's their grandchild to my family amd close friends have none stop calling and texting me and wishing me luck but as for his side not a peep from any of them his mom dad or sister and I'm getting really aggravated by it and the more I think the more I want to say something and to my partner for not asking why they never bothered.!!! Sorry to rant needed to get it off my chest and to see if I am being unreasonable. X

Devil's advocate here - any chance they've texted him and he's not said anything? My hubby does this kind of stuff all the time. My mother in law wouldn't necessarily contact me directly.

I would agree with teachermummy, my in-laws woyld never contact me directly either except if it's urgent.
That or maybe they forgot?x

I agree with teachermummy and Kitana. I don't think it means they're less excited or don't care. Maybe they just forgot it was today or they just want to wait to ask you how it went when they see you in person next.
My partner's boyfriend is totally over the moon for us but she never texts or calls us about appointments but its always the first thing she asks when we see her.

Thanks ladies for getting back to me and as far as he has told me they havent text him either I do feel calmer about it today and it's probably true that they do care but yesterday just bothered me for some reason and don't think hormones and emotions helped yesterday. X thanks my lovelies x

My family are the same as yours always texting and wishing me luck if I have appointments. My bf family are the opposite they care just as much but aren’t very affectionate that way. Xxx

I don't know my lovely they aren't to normal haha, I just find it very weird lol x xx

My in-laws never sent me anything during the pregnancy, they never asked me how anything went. But they were happy when I told them in person. I'm not super close to them, but you probably are since it seems to upset you. I never expected anything from anyone since my pregnancy isn't the only thing happening in their lives, if you know what I mean. I would let it go hun!x
