Hi

Have any of you started to buy baby stuff yet?

I'm 16 and a half weeks preg and am just dying to buy this outfit I've seen on the cover of a Vertbaudet (sp) leaflet!! It's an outfit for a baby girl, but I'm inclined to think, what the hell...if it's a boy, he won't really 'know' he's wearin it!!! It's only £15 for the whole outfit.

yes ive been buying non stop lol

we already have the cot, moses basket, new mattress, loads of clothes but there all in white at the minute!

we bought a lovely little fleece body suit today which is white and really thick which is perfect for my winter baby
£8 from matalan hehe it has little ears on the hood and teddies on the feet!

I've started..mainly because I hadn't much choice. I'm in the middle of buying a house which needs renovating so money will be tight soon...so I thought I'd better get going with the baby things. And cos it's my mums first grandchild she's gone a bit mad too!

I think that's it for now. Can't wait to start using them!

We were given a whole load of stuff before I even fell pregnant, because my father in law knew we were trying (their next door neighbour had it going spare). I also had bought a lot of things from eBay. So I have a loads of clothes for either a boy or girl right the way up to 12 months, a moses basket, cat net, baby bath and changing mat, plus the promise of some terry nappies.

We haven't bought very much yet. So far:

mirror for car
protector mat for the car seats
some baby GAP clothes

Hmm ... that's it!

I have a very big long list all ready to go though - my mum is coming over from Ireland last week in August so we'll go shopping for lots of stuff together. Then hubby and I will get the rest during Sept / Oct

Not feeling stressed at all about it ... yet!

i dont need much at all to be honest - i kept everything from doing it with damon. will need another cot though and a double buggy - just big things really.

So far I've bought 3 vests, romper set, with scratch mits, hat, bib, vest a little pooh bear rattle, baby brush and scissors, and other peeps have bought some little booties, a top which says I love mummy and a birth record book

we are moving soon hopefully so don't want to buy too much!
