Oh man...AF has got me this month...3rd month of trying...I feel down but my next ovulation starts on my birthday so I am just keeping my fingers crossed that I get a great birthday present!!! Focus on that and dont let it beat me...

Oh and by the way, my cycle thing below is obviously wrong...anyone know how you can determine definite ovulation when you dont have the 'normal' 28 day cycle?! I also dont know how to work out what my Luteal phase is...Thanks...

JarJar, so sorry honey I've been throwing the name of a book around - "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and it's really ace. Tells you how to look for all the different signs your body makes when it is ovulating, etc. as OPK only work for some people. They're not always 100% spot-on, and with a varied cycle, it could end up costing a fortune (minimal in comparison to how much a child costs to bring up but still...)

It might help you pinpoint your luteal phase as well. I've got one from the public library on loan but there are second hand copies available on Ebay/Amazon etc. for around £6. Well worth the read!

Thanks everyone...its so easy to get down about it all isn't it?
Think I will definitely have a look at that book though, my cycle seems to vary every month but it goes down in days - for instance Dec was 29/30 days, Jan was 28 and now its 27...weird...so yeah, something like that book could really help me out, thank you!
