This is good for me as I came off the pill about five weeks ago.

I'm hoping now that I'll get to know my cycle soon and will have a better chance of getting pregnant.

Could you all remind me of the cycle now and the dates. Is OV two weeks after AF ends? I guess two weeks ago when I had a bit of old blood must have been OV, I had dragging pains too.

Oh hun its all so confusing.......and there is no specific pattern to follow as it depends on your body!

You may find you need to start using some sort of Ovulation prediction kit (very very cheap for a bumper pack on ebay), in order to establish exactly when you ovulate.

When I came off the pill I had my first AF a bit late, making my cycle about 33 days, I was pretty sure when I ovulated though as had a lot of pain and upset stomach (and the same the following month).

The following month I ovulated a week earlier than the previous month - which caught me off guard, but luckily I was using the OPK's and able to BD once - I have no idea how long my cycle would have been as got my BFP.

I would start counting now though - from the 1st day of bleeding as this is the 1st day of your cycle.

Experts say that you ovulate on Cycle day 14 - but that would depend on you having a perfect 28 day cycle - which unfortunately not many ladies have.

Lots of luck hun :D

It's kind of the other way round, AF is about two weeks AFTER ovulation, unfortunatly as you've been on the pill you may not know your cycle length to calculate that. You can get cheap ov test sticks from ebay but if you don't want to go down that route then watch out for cervical mucus of an egg white consistency and get bd'ing or just bd every other day or every third day for the whold cycle.

Good luck
