advise on sick baby

hey not been on here for ages been so busy but could do with a bit of advise

Zach has come down with this sickness bug thats going around the area and wondered if anyone can help on what to do as he wont keep anything down even water he is bringing up


is there anything i can do for him?

I know they sell like - salts, re-hydration powders for us to take. but I dont know if anything is safe for LO's!!

Nice to see you again. How are your LO's doing? (Obviously one is ill but in general?)

Have you taken him to the docs hun? You can get rehydration drinks but not sure they are ok for babies.. kind of like dioralyte. xxx

Hiya, was just wondering about you the other day and you are getting on with the twins? Sorry I dont have any advice though, why not ring your HV or NHS direct and ask for advice? Or your local pharmacy - they will know if there is anything over the counter you could give him without you having to make an appointment at docs. Hope he is better soon

As the other girls have said maybe get DRs advice or if you are really concerned hun give NHS direct a call.

Hope he gets better soon, the bug is going round here too. MIL has it and the local hospitals have cancelled surgeries and advised people not to go in if nessesary

I wondered where you got too as well!! Hope you and little ones are well. My LO had a bad reaction to penecillin and he had some re - hydration saches that we had to add to water. So they do make them for babies but I would see a doctor on this matter first.

thanks for the msgs i rang the doctor and he said as long as he hadnt gone off drinking and keeps weeing then he would be ok...luckily he is alright now!!


both Zach and Georgia are doing well they are 5 n half months old now and time is going so so fast they not babie babies no more

Looking after them isnt as hard as i thought it would of been but saying that can get bit stressful when both screaming their lungs out... Zach is the spitting image of Matt and Georgia is just like me i put pick up on my facebook every now and again as only friends can see them but if ya wanna nose mail me and il give you my facebook addy!!!

Aww I'd love to see your LO's...

As for Zach... Get some re hydration salts as thats what he will need... but if he is having trouble keeping water down for more than 24 hours, he really needs to see a doctor or go to the hospital as they dehydrate really quickly. And I hope he gets well soon...
