Hi girls I'm a newbie to this, despite having 2 beautiful children I've never actively TTC before... So...

I've been tracking my cycles for the last 3 months and monitoring cervical changes and mucus... Can you girls make any suggestions of anything else that will help?

I had my implant removed in October and I am aware that it can take some time to conceive after coming off of implanon but any experiences of post implant conception would be great as well.

Thank you!

Eat well...cut out processed foods as much as possible and cook from scratch...lots of fruit and veg. Excerise like brisk walks, yoga, swimming. Drink lots and lots of water. Make sure you take time out to relax as well. Basically try and keep your body and mind healthy xx

I probably should have mentioned I have fibromyalgia as well so exercise is limited but I do do a lot of walking and generally eat well anyway because of my health. But thank you for replying x

Well you’re on the right track then :) and from what I’ve been told walking is one of the best exercises for ttc. Excessive exercise isn’t a good thing for ttc (which I was glad to hear lol).
I also use cheap ovulation sticks which I get from amazon. I have a pretty regular cycle but it’s good to get a better idea of when I’m ovulating and when I’m likely to expect af. xx

How do the ovulation tests work? Do you test all month or just around when you think you're due to ovulate? I've been a victim of extremely erratic cycles, some lasting up to 4 months thanks to implanon and they're just starting to settle to the 27-32 day area x

I take them once a day from around day 10...but it depends on what your cycles are like. I think you’d need to start taking them from around cd10/11 if you do sometimes have 27 day cycles. But it does tell you on the leaflet you get with it. The cheapie ones you pee into a cup and then dip the sticks in there and when the second line appears as dark or darker than the test line you know you’re about to ovulate in the next day or 2. And then once you’ve got you’re positive test you obviously don’t need to keep taking them. I’ve never bothered with the expensive ones as the cheap amazon ones have always been accurate for me - I think they’re called one step? xx
