Hi, got my bfp Tuesday and since that morning had stomach cramps on and off. Some quite painful. Have been told on various threads this is normal. Also, nothing really has changed in my breasts which I thought I would have noticed something.

I guess I just want to know if I'm experiencing normal symptoms. I'm obsessing a bit in my head and paranoid in case something goes wrong.

Also I wanted to say thank you to all the lovely ladies on this forum who are always so supportive and have educated me in all sorts!

How far along are you? I’m 5 weeks 5 days and I didn’t have any symptoms at all until week 5 hit! I’ve had some cramps, not too painful, not as painful as period cramps! But I hear that period like cramps are still normal. Even now I don’t have many symptoms, just occasional nausea, food aversions and tender nipples. It’s completely normal to not feel any symptoms until a bit later (about 5/6/7 weeks) and some people don’t even get any symptoms! Everybody’s different - enjoy feeling normal while you can because nausea is no fun! Xx

Thank you! Well my lmp was 5th July which would say I'm just 5 weeks however, my clear blue on Tuesday said "pregnant 1-2 weeks" and Monday night I got a bfn and then it wasn't till Tuesday morning I got my bfp so the hormones have only just started I suppose. I should be a bit more patient I suppose. Just v new to this process

Yeah sometimes the weeks on the digital can be a bit off, because it depends what time of day you test as usually the first morning wee that has the most hormone. It also depends on when you ovulated as well So I wouldn’t worry x

Cool, thank you. I haven't even got round to booking a Dr appointment yet. Will do that soon. Then at least I will be able to get a scan sorted

The stomach cramps definitely sound normal, as long as there's no bleeding too I wouldn't worry. My breasts didn't feel any different straight away either, our bodies definitely don't follow these symptoms in the same pattern.

Thank you. Yes I had quite bad pains on the day I got my positive. At one point I was laughing at something and it hurt to laugh!

That was 3 days ago and they are now less frequent for sure.

I’ve been so thirsty too! Gone right off hot drinks which I’m normally permanent attached to! And craving weak diluting juice all day!

Snap! I normally survive on coffee at work, I've gone completely off it and just drinking water or really weak squash, normal strength seems to taste too strong!

The CB tests show when you how long since you conceived, not how far you are. So if it was 1-2 weeks that means you conceived about 1 - 2 weeks ago and therefore will be approx 5 weeks pregnant. That does seem to work out for what you've said. 🙂
