I really want to get a job but am worried that I might be worse off?
I have a little girl and am on benefits and hate being on them and want to work.

Will I be worse off?

My place is £90 a week so what wage min would I be hoping to get that will pay all my bills but leave me with enough over to live well?

I am greatful for any help.

I have not got a clue what I may be intitled to.

Statistics show your better off money wise on benefits. sucks i know, ive been looking at working but logically i cant live off the money i can get by working. u can get childcare paid for, or its about £800 min a month lol best bet is to go to the jobcentre and speak to someone about it, u can get working tax credits depending on the hours/wage youll be getting. and possible childcare paid for.
:)

When I was on my own I got help from tax credits to pay for childcare etc. I wasn't really well off but I dont think I was worse off than benefits and you only have to work a minimum of sixteen hours to qualify.

Your locaal CAB is probably the best place to tel you what you would be entitled to and how to claim, or ask your jobcentre what help you coud get. I'm sure when I started working that My housing and council tax benefit was still paid for a couple of weeks to help you get on your feet.

Good luck with the job hunting :D :D
