Planning our honeymoon, we initially thought florida - too expensive(for paris my ds) then Paris but we thought in dec would be too cold, anywhere else that would be warm and nice?

We're having this problem at the moment too, we had decided on Italy for our honeymoon when it was just going to be the two of us, Rome, Venice etc but now we will have an 11 month old!! We need somewhere more family friendly so I am trying to come up with nice sunny places where we can just relax and have our first real holiday as a threesome!

Meditteranean? We went to Turkey once, not for a honeymoon.. but still.. we went there it was warm and not too expensive either! If you look there don't pick one of the standard 'english' places to go to or they'll just speak english to you the whole time (unless thats what you like). We went to Alanya right at the very south, as it wasn't a typical touristy place. Though not sure if Turkey is a honeymoon type place! Not been anywhere else other than France/Germany which are near enough british weather unless you go south.. South of France might be nice..? Sorry my geography is pretty poor so couldnt sggest any towns though toulouse rings a bell for some reason.

(Just went onto Google maps so found out where Toulouse is!! Marseille is on the coast on the south also, Toulouse is inland a bit).

My mum went to malta in december once and she said it was quite warm (obviously nothing like in the summer tho)

If your wanting nice weather in December.... I recommend one of the Canary Islands... I always go about November time..its always been hot for me!

Im hoping to go there for a bit of sunshine for christmas!

mexico is lovely, i stayed in a place called playa del carmen, in the Barcelo beach hotel, their website shows that the complex is much bigger than when I was there but there are lots of other hotels around that area. It was a lovely place and very relaxed, it was quite reasonable as well as it was AI. , there was a small town bout 15 mins away and Cancun was about 1 hour away.

Canaries? I went to Gran Canaria in Dec and it was lovely and warm.
