We have been co-sleeping for a couple of months now since Maisie went through a very long and painful 10w phase of refusing to feed during the day and only feeding at night. We are all quite happy with it at the moment and she is doing great naps during the day too

For naps and when she goes to bed at 7pm she is either nursed down or if she doesn't want that I lie there with her til she falls asleep- normally only 5 mins or so. We then put a pillow either side of her legs up to her waist and a little light blanket on and she lies and sleeps happily- she doesn't move at all in her sleep during naps or early evening. We have a bed guard at the side too.

What I am worried about is when she starts to crawl and things and isn't going to be able to sleep like that and how to get her into a cot.

What age did you co-sleep til and how easy was the transition to cot and stuff like that? How did they take to no instant booby access if BF?

Some nights she hardly feeds at all and then some nights like last night she feeds continuously after I go to bed.

We are in the middle of such a nice sleeping phase at the moment I am not looking forward to it ending :(

My third child will be 2 next month and if he wakes (usually between 1 and 2) he comes straight into our bed. last week there was o/h then aidan then me then leela (8 months) lol.

even now if one of the older 2 have an accident or fall out of bed etc they'll still come into our bed to sleep. they''re 5 and 6
