advice needed

Hi girls.

I Have a question , maybe some one has experienced some thing similar to me.
On the 9th of Feb I went to see a gynaecologist he did some test down there..... he took a swab from my cervix and I started to bleed a little then the next day I started to bleed like im on my period heavy .....( AF Is not due till the 27th...) I stopped bleeding on Sunday 12th then no bleeding thru Monday then started to bleed on the 14TH stopped during the night and now today I started to bleed again ..... im soo confused can it be implantation bleeding as I did go online and I did do a test thing and it says that implantation bleeding can accrue today ... so confused

Hi Sonia it sounds unlikely to be an implantation bleed if it was like a heavy period. I think IB is usually pink/brown spotting that does not get any heavier and maybe only lasts a few hours or a day or two. I wonder whether the swab might have caused you to bleed? It might be worth ringing your gynaecologist to check if this is common after your procedure. You could always do a pregnancy test in a few days time if you think you might be pregnant. Hope you get some answers!

Whenever I have examinations down there I tend to bleed for a few days on and off, nothing heavy but just some spotting here and there. If you're worried then contact your GP for peace of mind xx

Hi dear,

I agree with Lins, you should probably call your doctor. Sometimes I spot after an exam, but no more than for a few hours afterwards.
