Advice needed - work related

I'd be inclined to join a union and ask for a rep to be at any subsequent meetings, any rep worth their salt, excuse my french, would rip this tin pot organisation up for arse paper. From what you have said they have broken the law at least twice, and I hope you are logging all conversations with dates and times just in case you need evidence for an IT xx
 
I'd put a complaint in about you're hr women! She is putting you at risk by not doing a risk assessement! I'd ask to see their maternity policy.
Another thing that's bugged me is I was always under the impression that while you're on sick leave work arn't allowed to phone and ask you about work. They can make contact to see how you are but not to ask about work related issues or when you plan to return aslong as you keep them updated with the information they need. I could be wrong about this though. Good luck and don't let them bully you.
