I have posted before and said how poorly Harley has been since having the new jab, he had it on wednesday.

and is very sweaty and clamey. and still crying loads

he has no rash though?

i have been giving him medcine (medised/calpol) every 3hrs for the last 3 days now to keep his temp down. but on the bottle it says do not use for more then 3days? what should i do?

i want my happy baby back :(

im not to sure wot to do hun but if ur worried id ring nhs direct they may have good advice

after an entire night of crying hes just feel asleep hes got his window wide open with a fan in his room because the sweat is dripping of him.
not given him medicine tonight as im worried he has had to much over the past few days.
il give it till monday and hope it passes. i no its expected after jabs, but hes never been this bad before :(

but i agree Sarah NHS are usually great :)

aah poor harley :(
i hate it after they've had jabs, i've got 2 older kids too so i've been through this before.
can't really suggest much more than you are already doing, except see how he is on mon & a trip to the docs?

maybe get him out in the fresh air tomorrow weather permitting even if it is just to take yours & harleys mind of it & give you something to do?

take care

 for harley too.xx

Thanks Foxymum. il go out for a walk tomorrow just to give him some fresh air.
Poor little mite.

Dior has hers next month hop she is nit as bad.

so cn i not give him medicine now the bottle says no longer then 3days? :?
with out medicine hes burning up :wall:

if you are worried i would go to the drs to put your mind at rest. has he got a temp? try to keep him nice and cool if he has and ensure he gets plenty of fluids.

To be honest hun I would seek medical advice. Three days does seem like a long time to have such a high temp. Either phone NHS direct or go to a&e, they will put your mind at rest.

I would go to the doctors too if he doesn't pick up. I know your doctor is a pain but if you are worried that it is dragging on for too long then it's probably best to get him checked. Hope he is ok

If he's had a temp for that long then I would take him to the doctor or a&e just to make sure everything is ok.

Hope he's better soon :)

Dionne, i know you have had problems with your GP practice, but if Harley is still poorly i think you need to get him checked out. If you cant go to the GP, then id pop him to A+E, 3 days is a long time to have a high temp. Even if its nothing, surely it would be worth it??
Lets us know how he gets on xxxx

Thanks girls. Harley seems much better now hes no longer burning up. still crumpy though.
