QUICK REPLY PLEASE!!! Colds/Medised

I usually just give Arianna Calpol when she is ill as I heard Medised is quite strong and can make the little ones drousy.

Arianna has a cold and a slight temp, but my calpol has ran out.... I have a bottle of Medised that I bought ages ago - could I give her that just now until I can get to Boots to get some more Calpol.

I've never even opened the Medised, so don't really know much about it.

I've only used medised once when i was back home and it knocked Thea right out! I dont like the stuff.

This is what I heard.... it's ok tho I managed to get Brian on his mobile so he took Calpol home. He was out with the car.

its the only thing i used for Hannah prefer it to calpol and its brill for letting them have a good nights sleep when they have a cold

Medised contains the same strength paracetamol as infant Calpol but also has an additional ingredient of an antihistamine and it is the antihistamine that has sedating properties. I've given Medised on 2 occasions to my LO, but my LO doesn't get drowsy from it - not sure if this is a good or bad thing!
