advice needed please help

well i put a post on here a few weeks ago asking about some symptoms and should i be concerned etc, unfortunately i didnt get a response so im hoping someone who this has happened towill please reply to me.

after asking if my symptoms showed signs of prem labour i was admitted to hospital sat with regular strong contractions, they decided to give me 2 steroid injections over 12 hrs, thankfully after a few hrs my contractions stopped and i hadnt dialated. i am still getting the odd period pain but no tightenings yet

the consultant today told me because i had already had some symtoms of premlabour thatmy risk of having the baby before my due date had doubled

has this happened to anyone else and have you ended up having the baby before your due date?

I was induced at 35 weeks because of poor growth with my first i had the steriod injections delivered naturally at 35+2 and both home the next day. had my second at 39+2 natural onset. Plan is to induce me at 38 weeks with this one due to spd. I was told the chances of babies needing help after 36 weeks is small and as u have had the steriods little lungs should b fine. wouldnt worry too much not many babies are born on due dates and if lo is early u get cuddles quicker !!!

Ur classed as full term now Hun so no worries of preterm labour

yh i was 34 weeks when it started,thankfully it didnt carry on so its all good

well ive caught an infection so there is a very high chance i may need a c-section now, seeing gyno thurs to find out so could end up still having him sooner lol

the only thing that worries me is the thought of a canular, they are so painful lol

I know I've had one before too.. 5failed attempts but tbh it's not toooooo bad.. Don't fret about it and use breathing techniques to manage the pain of it.. Breath out as it goes in.. It helps
